Rainmaker Ranch Labradoodles
Breed Standard
Our Mission: To bring families an exceptional labradoodle - exceptional in health, temperament, and conformation.

🧬 What We Breed
At Rainmaker Ranch, we proudly breed Australian Labradoodles with soft, non-shedding fleece coats. Our dogs come in a wide variety of stunning colors: Chocolate, Black Silk, Apricot, Cream, Caramel, Café, Parti (two colors), Sable, Phantom, and Merle.
We specialize in wide-bodied, stocky, and silly dogs with fleece coats that are soft and loopy—never wiry or harsh. We don’t breed doodles to mimic other breeds—we believe they should be their own unique, casual, and cool-looking companion.
🧡 Rainmaker Ranch Breeding Criteria
✔ Foundation Breeding Dogs
Our breeding dogs must first meet the breed standard of their respective foundation breed:
● American Kennel Club - Labrador Retriever
We only breed dogs that exemplify their breed, ensuring the Australian Labradoodle is built on a solid foundation of sound conformation and temperament.
✔ Temperament
We prioritize dogs who are:
● Calm, loving, and easily trainable
● Sociable, clever, joyful, and comical
● Family-friendly and fun-loving
We are proud to have produced therapy dogs, guide dogs, and even a mold-detection service dog. Our youngest service dog passed the ADAI test at just 7 months old!
🩺 Labradoodle Health
Health screening is non-negotiable at Rainmaker Ranch. All our breeding dogs are tested for:
● Hip Dysplasia
● PRA-prcd (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
● Patella Luxation
● Cardiac issues
● Addison’s Disease
● Seizures
● Elbow Dysplasia
We maintain multiple generations of health-tested, clear dogs to ensure healthy, happy puppies.

🛡 Health & Responsibility
“Special attention must be directed to soundness in the breed.”
As breeders, it is our duty to protect the health and future of the Australian Labradoodle. We rigorously test our breeding dogs and only select those who will help eliminate genetic disorders from the breed.
The Australian Labradoodle is a family companion first—we’re here to ensure your new best friend brings love, not heartache.
